Luuuv U!

We've been saying "Luv U" to Camryn since she was born. Josh and I both grew up in very loving families and that is certainly something we wanted to pass down to Camryn. We always want her to know that she is loved by her mommy and daddy and our Mighty God. So, we say it probably 20 times a day. :) So, it was such a special moment when she learned to say it back to us, but the day she learned to say it to us, unprompted, definitely tops the cake. :) She said it to Josh a few days ago and just said it to me this morning. :) She did it the exact same way to both of us. She walked up to us, patted our leg sweetly and said "Luv U" in her super sweet voice. It melted my heart. Seriously. I had to hold back the tears. Such a sweet moment. :)

Dancing with Daddy

After seeing Taylor Swift in NYC, we just had to buy her new album, Speak Now. Of course, we love it, but there was one particular song that stood out to Josh. One day he texted me, when he was on his way home and said that #8-Never Grow Up, makes him sad because it makes him think of Camryn. How sweet is that? Sounds like a song dedication to me. :) So, here it is for those of you that haven't heard it. So precious.

And when he got home, we played the song for Camryn, while Josh danced with her. Soooo stinkin' cute! Of course my eyes welled up with tears. Happy tears of course. :) I love seeing Josh as a Daddy. It makes my heart so happy. He's the best and she obviously loves him to death. And now whenever she hears that song play, she says "Dance". So cute! :)

Using Utensils = Big Girl!

Yea! Our little girl is getting so big. She's now using utensils! Can you believe it?

Now, Mommy and Daddy have been hesitant to give her a try because of the mess. Okay, so maybe just Mommy, but with Camryn's 18 month check-up coming soon, I figured we ought to give it a try. :) So, we started with using a fork for her veggies. This definitely got her eating SO much better. Who doesn't love eating broccoli if you can use a fork?! :) She did great! She needed a little help to stab the bites, but could get them to her mouth with no trouble at all. So, a few days later we decided to give the spoon a try. We started with applesauce! We gave her the spoon and cup of applesauce and let her at it. Again, she did great and hardly missed her mouth much at all. She thought she was BIG stuff, getting to use utensils like Mommy and Daddy. So once again, whether we like it or not, she's growing up. :( and :).

The funny things Camryn says

Okay, so she's not only the sweetest little thing, she's also quite the comedian. Well, I guess if you ask her parents. :) Here's a quick list of the funny things Camryn says.

-"Excuse You"-when she's really means "Excuse Me", like when someone's in her way and she wants you to move
-"Bless You"-when anyone sneezes or coughs
-"Roar"-when she wants to watch her Lion Baby Einstein Video
-"Baby"-when she wants to eat Yogurt
-"Weeee"-when we go over a bump in the road or any movement that tickles her tummy, like swinging at the playground or at Nana & Grandpa's house
-"Pretty"-when she sees a brush or a hairbow
