Camryn,
My little girl is getting bigger. You've really grown up a lot this year. Walking, running, talking, talking and talking. You have such a sweet personality and you make us smile and laugh constantly. I'm amazed at how fast you learn and I can't wait to hear what you will say next. Fun memories from this year: I like how you have to wear your hat when I wear mine as we work in the yard. I like that you ask for chocolate milk every time we pull into the breakfast place parking lot. I like how you list step by step everything we need to do to get in the car. I like how you say raisins "ray rays", and more than anything I like to just watch you being you. I love you. Happy 2nd Birthday.
Love,
Dada
Dear Sweet Camryn,
Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl! I can't believe it. This past year has flown by, just like the one before. I guess you're not really my baby anymore, but instead my big girl! You have grown-up so much! Especially over these last 6 months. You are talking in sentences now and you amaze me every day with the new things you are learning. We can actually sit down and have a conversation. I love it! Most of the time it's in the car or in my bathroom as I'm getting ready in the morning. :) You can count to 5 all by yourself and to 10 with a little help. :) You LOVE to help me with the dishes, clothes, cleaning, really anything, and I just know it will come in handy when Baby Reid arrives. :) You are going to be an amazing BIG sister and I can't wait for the two of you to meet. You light up my life every day sweet girl and I am so thankful that the Lord has entrusted you to us.
Love,
Your Momma

Family Vacation to San Antonio!
We recently traveled to SA, with some of our closest friends, for a fabulous family vacation! We really enjoyed vacationing with our sweet friends and their super fun boys and are already looking forward to planning another trip in the future. :)
Here's a recap of all of our fun.
We drove down on Thursday morning, big girl style. :) This was Camryn's first time to be facing forward and she LOVED it. Definitely great timing for our 4+ hour road trip. :)
Here's where we stayed-The Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa. It was fabulous!
They had a beach with a lazy river that ran through several pools.
A super fun sand playground.
And here's the view from our room.
After checking in and exploring the Resort we headed out for dinner with our friends to Alamo Cafe. Yum!
The next morning we woke up and ate breakfast in our fabulous suite! We haven't stayed at hotels much as a family yet, but this was definitely the way to go. Table and chairs to eat breakfast at, mini fridge to hold all of our food & drinks, and when Camryn went to bed at night, Josh and I didn't have to sit in the hallway/bathroom until she fell asleep. :) It was great!
After breakfast we headed to the pool with our friends.
And then the beach and lazy river. ;)
After a full morning in the sun/water, Melodie and I put the kiddos down for naps while Josh and Jeremy headed out for a round of golf. After our naps were interrupted by a false fire alarm :(, we decided to head back out to the beach for some more playtime while the guys finished up.
Once the guys got back, we decided to hang around the Resort that night and order pizza rather than getting out for dinner.
Here's Josh and Camryn chillin'/wrestlin' on a hammock. :)
And then after dinner, we headed to the nightly campfire to roast marshmallows and enjoy s'mores. Yum!
The next morning, we headed back out for some more water time. :)
Camryn LOVES for her daddy to throw her up in the air. She squeals with delight every time. Love it!
And after a morning of swimming, our little fish was EXHAUSTED. :( Poor thing. She took a great nap for Daddy while Melodie and I headed out to La Cantera for a little girl time-SHOPPING!
Before heading out for dinner that night we just had to take a few pics. :)
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mi Tierra.
And then bought Camryn this hot pink guitar. She had to have a souvenir, right?! :)
The next morning, before our fabulous, late check-out of 2pm, we headed to the pool one last time.
Followed by a little more playtime at the playground. :)
Such a FUN vacation filled with lots of fun memories! Love you guys!

Mother's Day 2011!
This Mother's Day, Josh and Camryn made sure I felt extra special.
I woke up to these adorable chef's in my kitchen. :)
They made me a delicious breakfast of banana coconut pancakes and bacon that we enjoyed on our patio. Yum!
Then, they gave me this. A beautiful bouquet of flowers, 3 cards (1 from Josh, 1 from Camryn and 1 from Reid) :), a special new book ("Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too?") and a cute onesie for Reid. :)
Me and my cutie! :)
After a delicious lunch at Taco Diner and a little shopping for me, we headed home for naps. :)
Then, later that afternoon we headed to a near-by park to meet our Community Group. The guys had planned a fun afternoon of playing at the park, yummy pizza and Sprinkles cupcakes. :)
Here are the guys and kiddos flying a kite.
Camryn chillin' in her chair. :)
Mommas and our super sweet little girls. :)
Thanks so much Honey for going out of your way to make sure my day was extra special. I am so thankful for you and the precious gifts of Camryn and Reid, that the Lord has given us.

Revealing Baby Boy's Name!
Yep! We've chosen a name for our little guy! It's one that I've had on my "list" for awhile and of all of the names, it was Josh's favorite. We really didn't even consider any other names. We flipped through name books and searched on the internet, but nothing could compare. We both just LOVED it and knew that his name should be . . .
Reid Allen Myers!
Doesn't it go perfectly with Camryn? :)
Our prayer for Reid is that he will one day KNOW the love and refuge of the Lord in a personal way.
Deuteronomy 33:26-27a (NLT)
“There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor. The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you."
We revealed the name to our parents with a thank-you note from Reid himself. :) The thank-you was for the cute baby clothes that they had each given us recently. When they both received the card, we received calls and texts with their excitement. So fun!
So, what's next? On to deciding on nursery colors, bedding, etc. Yea! So excited!
