3 Month Letter & Pic

Sweetie Pie-

Happy 3 month b-day sweet girl! You are getting so big! Your daddy calls you "Sweet Chunk", but I promise I won't let him call you that past your 1 year b-day. I don't want you to get a complex or anything. :) So, this past month has been filled with your sweet smiles and we have loved every single one of them. Your daddy and I love that we can make you smile almost anytime we want. I said almost. You are ALWAYS moving. You are one active little girl. You're not even still when you're sleeping. I'm constantly finding you at the other side of your crib in the morning and you're even swaddled. :) You are holding your head up really well now and are enjoying your tummy time more and more. You've really started to "talk" to us. Your daddy says that it's never going to be quiet in our house again. :) You LOVE to suck on your fists. Your hands are always in or near your mouth. You've found your toes and love to grab them as well. Those haven't made it into your mouth yet. :) You are becoming a great napper. We've become a little more flexible with your schedule and you've taken to it really well. I've loved spending time with you this past month with our sweet friends we've made at our new playgroup. I look forward to many more fun times ahead.

We love you so much and still can't believe that you are OUR little girl.

Baby Massage

My sweet friend, Kate, taught me how to do Baby Massage on Camryn. She absolutely LOVES it and it is definitely a special bonding time for us every other night, just before her bath. Thanks so much Kate for taking the time to teach us. :)

Here's just a small clip of Kate & her little girl Andi, teaching us how. This massage is called "I Love You" and helps with the ever annoying gas. :)

Josh's 30th Birthday!

Yep! Josh turned the big 3-0 on Wednesday, August 26th. To celebrate we had a week long celebration.

We started out by celebrating with our Community Group. We had dinner at BJ's (love their pizza) and then when to Top Golf to play miniature golf. We played as couples and unfortunately, Josh and I came in last place. We have some practicing to do before we rematch. :)





Then, on his actual birthday we went to dinner at his favorite restaurant. TEXAS ROADHOUSE! He worked there in college and STILL loves it. AMAZING!

Then, on Saturday we got together with family to celebrate. We went swimming (pics to come of Camryn's first dip in the pool) and enjoyed some yummy food and cake of course.





Of course, these two girls were the hit of the party.




Happy B-Day Honey! I can't believe you're 30! Glad you were the one over the hill first. :)

Four Generations

Gram, my mom's mom, came to visit us earlier this month. It was so exciting for Camryn to meet her Great Gram. Shortly after I announced that I was pregnant, Gram started planning this trip. She really wanted to come after Camryn was smiling, so we gambled that at 2 months, she'd be all smiles. Luckily, Camryn delivered and had started smiling just a few weeks before her visit. Gram stayed with us for a night and then we went to visit her at my mom's house for a few days as well. We had such a fun time playing, feeding her, changing her clothes several times to show off all of her cute outfits, giving her a bath, making hairbows and of course covering her with lots of kisses.

Thanks so much for coming to visit us Gram. It was such a special time. Love you.

Camryn also met her Great, Great Aunt Shirley and Uncle Vernon. We loved visiting with them and hope to see them again sometime soon.

Sweet Cousins

Camryn has 2 cousins already and we are hoping for many more someday. :) Asher is two and Avery was born just three weeks after Camryn (both are Josh's sister, Bethany's kiddos). Avery is absolutely precious and Camryn has had so much fun with her already. Bethany and I have been getting together for "playdates" every week at each others' house. It has been so much to dress the girls alike and take LOTS of pictures. And of course their Nana doesn't mind having all of her sweet grandbabies all together. :) What fun they will have growing up together.
