Our Family Christmas-2010

Since we were going to be with the Pates for Christmas, we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as our family of (3) on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. We dressed in our Christmas pj's, read the Christmas story, put little sweetie to bed and began wrapping gifts while watching a Christmas movie. :) The next morning, we woke up, early of course, and couldn't wait for Camryn to see her presents under the tree. We had a fun, lazy morning, unwrapping gifts, digging into our stockings, singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus and enjoying yummy cinnamon rolls together. :)

Merry Christmas Eve!

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care . . . (or should I say laid) :)

Merry Christmas Morning! Rise and Shine Sleepy Head! :)

We gave Camryn the Happy Sounds Little People Home. She LOVES Little People and we just knew she'd love this little house that made fun sounds when you did things like, ring the doorbell, flush the toilet and hang up the telephone. :) She LOVED it of course!

We also got her a toddler-sized, personalized, back-pack to replace her diaper bag. Big girl! She was so excited about it and wanted to put it on her back right away. So cute! She was walking around the house with it on saying, "pack-pack". :)

And here she is playing with her big-wheel car. When she would play at friends' houses, she always loved the cars and trucks her boy-friends had, so we had to get her one of her own. :)

Now it was Daddy's and Mommy's turn to open up their presents. :)

And finally-STOCKINGS! Yea! My favorite part. :)

In each of our stockings we had new ornaments. We picked out Camryn's together, but Josh and I buy each other's. We try to find something representative of that year. Josh got me the cute picture frame ornament on the left, we got Camryn the cupcake ornament since she had a Cupcake Birthday Party this year and I got Josh the Best Dad ornament. So fun!

And just a fun pic of our china hutch, filled with Christmas cards. I love having fun pics of our family and friends displayed and this year Camryn really enjoyed it too. She loved telling us who was on each card and especially loved to carry them around the house. Most of the cards were kissed and spilled on, so they didn't make it long, but we loved them none the less. :)
