Every fall/winter, when we turn our heat on for the first time, we have to assume to position. Towels in hand, ready to jump and wave them at the fire alarms to get them to stop going off and waking up our neighbors. It never fails, every time. Here's a few pics to document this year's festivities. Hopefully, this will be the last. :)

No heater usually needed in LA, but I remember those days...Hopefully those are drawing to a close for y'all!
That's so funny! I've never had that happen before, but basically anytime I cook, I have to flag down the smoke alarms, so I feel your pain!
