7 years! Wow! This past year was filled with many firsts. Our first car purchase, our first home purchase and of course the birth of our first child. With our anniversary being just a few weeks after Camryn's arrival, we certainly weren't planning any big trips. My parents offered to babysit Camryn, so we took them up on the offer and enjoyed our first date night. We went to Cheesecake Factory and enjoyed a delicious dinner and of course dessert. We tried really hard to not talk about Camryn or call and check on her while we were on our date, but we didn't do very well. We just couldn't help it. We missed our little girl. :)

That's so cute, about not trying to call or talk about Camryn. I remember our first date after Aubrey, it was weird to not have her with us (we were only gone for like an hour and a half). But we tried so hard not to talk to her, or watch the clock to see what she was probably doing at that exact moment! Hard to do when they are pretty much your everything! Thank God for great grandparents.
