Camryn's First Movie in the Theater-Winnie the Pooh

Another first we've had recently was taking Camryn to her first movie in a theater. Josh and I love going to the movies and have been anxiously awaiting, just the right time and just the right movie. Well, what a better time than before Baby Brother comes along and what a better movie than Winnie the Pooh. :) Now, at the time, the longest thing she has watched is a 20 minute Dora show every now and then, so we weren't sure she'd be able to make a whole movie. However, we were so excited to hear that the movie was only an hour long and that several of her friends, that were 2 years old as well, did GREAT with it. So, we invited our friends, The Uphues', to join us for a Saturday morning matinee. It was really a fun family outing. We found her Piglet and Tigger stuffed animals and brought them with us. We also brought an arsenal of snacks with us. Her usual faves like, raisins, goldfish, cheerios, fruit snacks, but we also brought a few extra special ones like M&M's and suckers. :) Of course, we just had to buy some popcorn and surprisingly, that was her favorite. That's all she ate, several handfuls of popcorn and 1 sucker. :) She wasn't a fan of the theater seat that kept devouring her because she didn't weigh enough to hold it down, but she did love the BIG screen. She watched intently, enjoying her snacks and even laughed out loud once. Such a fun first for C as well as a fun family memory.
